This recipe probably doesn’t fit into my new diet but it is one of my favorite cheese spreads! My mom always makes it around the holidays but it would be great any time of the year. I wanted to share it now since I’m sure many people will be planning or attending Super Bowl parties in a couple of weeks. And it’s really simple to make!
1/2 lb. Colby
1/2 lb. Swiss
1/2 lb. Velveeta
1 t. dry mustard
1 T. sugar
1/2 t. garlic powder
1 T. chopped onion
1 t. Accent
2 C. Hellmans original mayonnaise
Shred the cheeses.* Mix all ingredients in a large bowl. Best is let set overnight.
*I buy the cheese already shredded. You can even find the Velveeta pre-shredded, which I didn’t know until I started making this myself.
